Stanford House Inc.'s Outreach Service is managed by one of the two Joint Coordinators at Stanford House who has been designated to oversee its operation.
The Outreach Service supports HIV positive people in Sydney's inner west who are making the transition from supported accommodation at Stanford House to their own accommodation. The designated Joint Coordinator and a Relief Worker share the responsibility of visiting clients in their residences, providing assistance with shopping, attending doctors appointments, social contact and respite for carers.
Currently, the Outreach Service receives no public funding, but we are seeking financial support (public and private) to ensure its continuance.
Access to the Outreach Service is usually through self-referral to the designated Joint Coordinator, although your health care professional is also welcome to act on your behalf.
